About Louise Boyce, Mama Still Got It!

Louise breaks the typical ‘mumfluencer’ mould and has fast become every parent’s most liked social media star. Her ability to capture the seemingly mundane moments of raising kids and spin them into hilarious social sketches that all parents can relate to regularly go viral with up to 10 million shares.

In 1996, she was crowned European Model of the Year just twelve months after signing her first professional contract. But the pressures to be perfect in an exacting industry led to a crushing eating disorder and her leaving modelling entirely. She tentatively stepped back into the world of fashion a few years later and slowly – over a decade – built her career back up from nothing to become a successful curve model, only to be told by her then-agent that her career was over after she announced she was pregnant with her first child.

Louise defied this setback in her career and confidence, refusing to accept the discouraging ‘expert advice.’ Instead, she emerged as a strong and respected advocate for women’s empowerment. Drawing inspiration from her own experiences, Louise launched the influential national campaign, ‘Push It Out,’ with the aim of promoting honesty in maternity advertising.

Her efforts led to transformative changes in the practices of major corporations like ASOS and Boo Hoo. Additionally, she fearlessly spoke out about the misconception that motherhood imposes limitations on women’s careers, challenging the notion that they have a limited shelf life.

She became a social phenomenon during Covid when she swapped trying to be the perfect model-mum influencer for creating relatable, funny content about the realities of parenting to combat her own anxieties. Louise has since discovered a whole new career path in her forties, leading to her debut book, Mama Still Got It.
